Emory Goizueta Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA)

The Emory University Goizueta Business School Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program is a 10-month, STEM-designated program located at the Goizueta campus in Atlanta, Georgia. The program allows early-career professionals and recent college graduates to bridge the gap between business, data, and technology to prepare for a data-driven business career. The program also offers four specialized tracks: AI in Business, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, and Supply Chain Analytics.

The 10-month Emory Goizueta Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program offers a flexible curriculum that allows students to learn foundational business analytics as well as specialize in one of four areas: AI in Business, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or Supply Chain Analytics.

The MSBA program is split into structured modules and terms combining core analytics training with practical application. Students take core foundational courses covering business statistics, business analytics, social network analytics, machine learning, data visualization, and design analytics & optimization. The program also features an intensive, hands-on Business Analytics Practicum where small teams work with corporate partners on real-world client projects to deliver technical solutions and dashboards.

In order to complete one of the four specialized tracks offered, MSBA students need to complete targeted elective courses tailored to their chosen discipline. For example, if a student wants to specialize in advanced quantitative and fundamental tools, they can choose advanced electives such as ‘Machine Learning for Fundamental Analysis’, ‘Quantitative Models & Financial Data Analytics’, or ‘Superforecasting’ alongside their core requirements.

Among the Emory Goizueta MSBA Class of 2025 graduates, 88% gained employment within six months of graduation with an average base starting salary of $81,842.  the MSBA program offers career guidance and interview preparation via the Career Management Center (CMC). Students can also hone their leadership skills by working with executive coaches and participating in leadership development initiatives within the business school.

Students receive personal coaching from the CMC staff, helping students to clarify their career goals and explore career paths. The CMC provides students with effective job search techniques, job-specific coaching as well as access to the Goizueta alumni network.

For the 2026–27 academic year, the Emory Goizueta Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program tuition and fees are $82,794 for the 10-month option and $90,760 for the 16-month option. This does not include other estimated costs and living expenses (such as housing, food, books, health insurance, and parking), which are estimated to be about $36,830 for the 10-month program and $55,245 for the 16-month program, bringing the total estimated cost of attendance to approximately $119,624 for the 10-month option and $146,005 for the 16-month option.

Regarding financial aid, all MSBA applicants are automatically evaluated for merit-based scholarships (which typically cover from 10% to 60% of tuition and fees) upon admission by submitting all application materials by Round 3, with no separate application required (though Round 2 is required for named scholarships). All applicants are eligible for private student loans, and U.S. applicants can utilize federal student loan programs by submitting a FAFSA. There are additional financial aid options and special scholarship programs available, including the Rosemary and John Brown Family Scholars Program and an exclusive 30% tuition scholarship for eligible current Emory undergraduate students.
