Curriculum
The 10-month Michigan Ross MBAn program offers a structured curriculum that allows students to both learn business fundamentals as well as specialize in data-oriented and business-oriented focus areas.
The program is split into terms starting in the Summer. Students take intensive courses across the Summer, Fall, and Winter terms. The Summer term includes introductory data programming and business fundamentals (such as Introduction to Data Programming, Advanced Spreadsheets, Probability and Statistics, and Business Immersion). The Fall term includes core technical and management courses (such as Predictive Analytics, Data Exploration and Visualization, Data Architecture and Acquisition, Unsupervised Learning, Causal Inference through Experimentation, and Managerial and Financial Accounting). The Winter term includes advanced prescriptive analytics, ethics, and an immersive Business Analytics Consulting Studio project where teams solve real organizational challenges.
In order to complete the program, students combine rigorous core technical requirements with cross-functional electives in specialty areas such as fintech, biotech, and advanced data strategy alongside MBA courses.

For the 2026-27 academic year, the Michigan Ross Master of Business Analytics program tuition is $67,063 for Michigan residents and $72,063 for non-Michigan residents and international students. This does not include other fees and living expenses which are estimated to be about $40,000 for the entire program.
Regarding financial aid, all MBAn applicants are evaluated for merit-based scholarships and all applicants are eligible for private student loans.
