Notes:

26 year old white male in doing research at a pre-clinical biotech, and I want to switch into the business aspect of the life sciences indsutry. Post-MBA I hope to pivot into IB to learn how pre-revenue life science companies are financed, then thinking long term doing corp dev at a biotech.

3.4 GPA from a top 30 college in the US. Less than ideal GPA, not sure if I should talk about it in optional essays; I'm hoping my GRE will offset this.

329 GRE (165Q/164V)

Two promotions at current company, I think I will have strong recommendations from here.

ECs are mostly fitness based. I have run 4 half marathons and volunteer coach youth soccer.

Key will be showing impact and growth at work, supported by strong recommendations. Volunteer soccer coach is a nice additional activity, along with the dedication required for marathon running.

Goals and “why MBA” make good sense.

I did earn a silver medal at a national competition for rowing, so thinking of highlighting my success there. Slight positive trend starting junior year (0)
