Weekly Roundup for Clear Admit’s MBA Podcast

In this week’s MBA Admissions podcast we began by discussing some of the recent activity on LiveWire, which is now becoming quieter as we move into the summer season. We then continued our discussion on the recent U.S. Government decisions as they pertain to international MBA students; Harvard appears to have won a recent decision in their fight with the U.S. Government in terms of being able to enroll international students.

Graham highlighted Clear Admit’s summer series of webinars, which focuses on top MBA programs’ admissions essays, which will be attended by more than 20 of the top MBA programs. The first event in the series includes Berkeley / Haas, Cornell / Johnson, Dartmouth / Tuck, Duke / Fuqua and UPenn / Wharton. Signups are here: https://bit.ly/mbaessay0725

Graham then noted two admissions tips; the first focuses on the importance of post MBA career goals, the second, part of Clear Admit’s “Myth Busters” series, discusses the differences between targeting Round 1 and Round 2.

We continue our series of Adcom Q&As, which is a yearly series where we interview the admissions leaders at all the top MBA programs; this week we have Q&As from NYU / Stern and Georgetown / McDonough.

Finally, Graham highlighted a Real Humans alumni spotlight focusing on an alum from IESE working at PwC.

For this week, for the candidate profile review portion of the show, Alex selected three ApplyWire entries.
