Other details:

I started my career in prestigious local government fellowship in the Bay. I worked in Whistleblower investigations and auditing for one of the largest Bay Area cities. I've won awards for work that turned into large multi million dollar settlements for the cities residents & an FBI investigation, arrest, etc.

(mentioning this because I'm not sure whether or not it would help my app -- one recommender would be a government official I worked closely with)

My current job is super chill. I investigate incidents of financial fraud, Privacy violations, branding, and conflict of interest issues. I do however have lots of downtime which is why I'm leaning towards a PT program because I feel like I'd be able to build tons of FT connections, attend clubs, and even take leaves during summer to intern.

My career trajectory has been great. Every year in government I secured 20% pay increases & eventually switched to private sector because I wasn't being challenged enough. Now I'm realizing that Compliance isn't my long term plan. I'm not being challenged enough.

I'm really passionate about finance and I have been since I was in my teens. So I'm finally ready to tackle the GMAT and apply to get my MBA.
