NYU Stern MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Zoom
The overall interview had been very relaxed and the Adcom had asked very few follow-up questions on my answers. The following questions are what’s been asked: 1. Michigan Ross MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumnus / Zoom

CBS MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 (J-term) / Alumnus / Google Meet
The interview was résumé-based and pretty relaxed. The questions were asked more out of genuine curiosity than in a challenging or confrontational tone. Questions, in summary: – TMAY – Short- and long-term goals? – How CBS connects with my short-term goal? (Why CBS) – A follow-up on how would I create a community/contribute. – TMAT you disagreed during a group effort. – A question about why I engaged with a specific extracurricular. The interview lasted roughly 35 minutes, followed by about 10 additional minutes for questions from my side.

Texas McCombs MBA Admissions Connection: Round 1 / Second-Year Student / Zoom
Questions Asked: Only one: “Why McCombs?” Interview Experience & Vibe: I purposely matched with a second-year student who shared my non-traditional background and was a fellow in a prestigious McCombs program. This allowed me to ask highly targeted questions about transitioning to traditional recruiting pipelines and understanding how I could be a part of said prestigious program. The overall vibe was warm, friendly, and encouraging, solidifying my confidence in choosing McCombs. INSEAD MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumnus / Off-Campus
R1 alum interview, off-campus in-person, ran about an hour. Very conversational and felt more like a chat than an evaluation. It was resume-based, and felt that he clearly read mine. Opened with Tell me about yourself, then moved through Why MBA/Why Now, Why INSEAD, short- and long-term goals, strengths/weaknesses, and what I’d contribute to the class. Two behavioral questions: Tell me about a time I had to face failure and asked me to share an instance in which I lead a team/tough situations. What surprised most was the question about why I was applying from Vietnam as an Indian national.

Texas McCombs MBA Peer Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / Zoom
The interview was very conversational and behavioral. The second-year student asked me for a bio and introduction of myself, and my career background. Then we discussed their experiences as a McCombs MBA student and why they chose the program. We discussed life in Austin and recruiting for roles in Texas and in the US. Overall, I would say the interview was not as specific on questions, but more so a conversation to get to know more about the candidate and offer them a chance to learn about the interviewer’s journey and experiences. Submitted my application about 2 weeks after the Round 3 deadline, and was admitted before Round 4 deadline. I was a cum laude undergrad alumni (from another NYU school, not Stern), so that may have contributed to the quick admit. LBS MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / Zoom
The interview had three parts. First, we went through my résumé, background, goals, and reasons for applying to LBS. Then we did a short case interview of around 15 minutes. Finally, I had time to ask him questions. Although it was scheduled for 2 hours, it ended up lasting around 2 hours and 30 minutes. I recently completed my MIT Sloan MBA interview and found it to be a thoughtful and engaging experience.
