African Female candidate, taking the GRE and aiming for a 330. Qualified lawyer with undergrad degree for Russel group Uni in the UK, qualified in Nigeria and brief stint in law practice. Now working in Product at global finacial services company in UK. Also a founder of a women's focused community organisation. In total by the time I start I will have 3.5 years experience. Post MBA goals are to explore entrepreneurial aspirations or continue to progress in Product Management role

Do you have any geographic preferences, post MBA? Be good to know a little more about your entrepreneurial aspirations. In the long run, are you planning to return to Africa? ario Likes Earned: 1 Thanks for your reply Alex! I think I’d ideally want to return to the UK or Africa. Specifically I’m Nigerian but also have British Citizenship, not sure if either of these two countries are overrepresented at the moment. Outside of work im the founder of a lifestyle community focused on African women in their 20s. I write a newsletter, moderate an online forum, have a small team of volunteers and host events as part of this. I also have previous volunteer experience and a few side projects I have tried. My entrepreneurial aspirations at the moment would be focused on growing out the community organisation. As I am still in the process of taking the GRE, is it advised I apply in Round 2 instead of Round 1? (0)

Re your community, that tilts to Nigeria. Showing the communities impact and growth since founding will be very good, too. (0)

ario Likes Earned: 1 Thank you for insights on the podcast! I graduated with a 2.1 and yes I would like a different experience as I’ve studied in the UK already. Since I wrote in I’ve added HBS to my list and on your advice might consider another East Coast school. I was looking at schools that had either a tech/ entrepreneurial reputation as you both guessed. Thanks again for the help! (1)
