anon22549 Likes Earned: 3 Thank you for the feedback Alex. My undergrad was in Electrical Engineering from an average school in India. My graduate degree was from a state school in the US. My short term goal is to move into strategy or management consulting pertaining to the auto and tech industries at a MBB firm. In the long term, I want to take a role as an executive in the autonomous driving or artificial intelligence space working for Waymo or Google. I work for a German firm as a technical consultant to automotive manufacturers across North America and Europe. I was promoted once at the 3 year mark. The way it works in my company is they give you more responsibilities and ask you to be proficient before moving to the next level. It depends on the number of years you put in rather than the pace at which you develop skills. Depending upon the project you work on, I could be the technical point of contact for the client or lead a team of engineers to deliver a product. (1)

You're a little older, so it will be important to show how active you will be, how engaged you'll be, inside and outside the classroom. Also, make sure you have some applications ready for the first rounds. Columbia should be ED, etc (1)
