Why MBA now?
I currently have very niche experience and future roles will require significant years of experience (my line manager has ~20 years of experience). Job hops aren't really feasible either as I'm paid significantly higher than market rate for my YOE (I like to think this is because I'm competant at the job and interviewing :D)

Demographics: 26M, Welsh/French, First-Gen, LGBTQ+

BSc Business Management - 2:1 (68%) - 3.7 GPA??
MSc Real Estate - Distinction (70%) - 4.0 GPA???

Work Experience (3.5 at application, 4.5 matriculation)
Boutique Consultancy: Real Estate Technology Implementation (1.5 years) - accelerated promotion from Analyst to Lead Analyst after 9 months, the standard at the company being 2 years.

Large AM Company (>£500bn AUM): Software Operations Analyst (2 years) - the team is very flat and unlikely to receive any title promotion, however I have been selected for a high potential development program and received a significant salary increase.

318 GRE (cold) hoping to bring this up to school averages but I understand everyone says that :)

ECs (there are a lot - probably my strongest aspect?)
a. Junior Board (2 years): selected for the junior board of my company, role involves creating global initiatives to promote operational efficiency / people development e.g. mentorship scheme, interactive AUM tools, attending senior board meetings, global company presentations.
b. LGBTQ+ Committee (2 years): organise and promote LGBTQ+ events in the AM industry.
c. Volunteering Community Champion (2 years): administrator for our internal company volunteering platform where donation pages and initiatives are posted company wide.

School ECs:
d. On the alumni committee for my school helping nurture industry relationships and hosting social events.
e. Worked part-time during both my undergraduate and postgraduate to fund the degree costs, variety of roles e.g. customer service, research assistant, department ambassador.

Other ECs
f. Program Manager / Mentor (3.5 years): volunteer with a charity that goes to schools in low socio-economic areas and promotes the benefits of further education and upskilling themselves for professional careers.

I have three potential LORs (current line manager, current COO and past line manager/mentor).

Questions!

1. Does my story and 'Why MBA' make sense based on my background? I've seen that people say to not mention unrealistic goals.

2. Are my school choices in the right ball park? a. assuming average test scores and/or b. assuming current cold 318.

3. Is my work experience sufficient? I do lack formal people management / direct reports.

4. Am I right in my GPA estimation? I just found a random converter online.
