alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1572 So you are planning to relocate to the west coast? Might also be worth looking at Kellogg and Booth. Do you have a good vision for your long term goal? That will be important, to anchor your story, at the very top programs. Your numbers are terrific, of course. Assume your WE is strong, make sure you can show impact, esp. at a smaller shop, with 5 years of experience. Same with ECs, showing your passion/impact will really help to put you in the top tier of mba candidates. (0)

anon25293 Likes Earned: 12 Absolutely! Spent 2 years post-college working abroad teaching English at one of the poorest schools in the country. In my second year, I gained fluency in the language and then moved back to the US. Found a job ~3.5 years ago at a very boutique investment bank (5 people total) working on deals in the $20-100m range. Promotion to Associate earlier this year and indirectly manage our analyst. While a small company, I have gotten great leadership experience working directly with C-level clients and creating and running our internship program. Outside of work, I'm on my alumni steering committee, a board member for 1 small non-profit, and a member of a young professional's board for a national organization where I have directly raised over $15,000 and kicked off a new fundraising campaign. Short term goals are to get into strategy / operations at a leading technology firm which I connected to my current role working with technology companies. For my long term goal, I discussed promoting socially conscious initiatives as a Chief Strategy Officer at a technology firm. I feel pretty confident both recommendation letters were great. (0)

I'd be surprised if you don't get options?this season, either M7 or just outside that group. Will you be applying to Duke, etc? (0)
