Notes:

I have been in the pharma industry for the last three years. I held roles both in finance and global health with a focus on expanding access to medicines for low income countries and communities. An MBA degree will help me develop, scale, and lead sustainable business models for emerging markets. I plan to come back in the pharma space and continue advancing access to essential medicines for all. Because of my contribution and performance at work, I am getting sponsored by my employer and I wonder if that should be stated in the essays? I am guessing it wouldn't hurt but does it help? It has not been easy prepping but I am planning on taking the GRE in October and start applying in the second round.

A bit more about me: male, 30, first generation immigrant from west Africa. I am currently based in Chicago and have no preference where I end up. Outside of work, I am very involved in the community and sit on the boards of two non profit organizations. I started listening to the Clear Admit Podcast last week and found it very helpful. Would love to hear your thoughts on my odds and thank you.
