alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1584 Where are you from/based? I worry that the combination of your GPA and GMAT are underwhelming for the very top programs you’re targeting. Have you considered retaking the GMAT, for example? (0)

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1154 Work experience and ECs sound very promising! I tend to agree with Alex here on the counting stats; both GPA and GMAT fall well below the averages at your target programs. It's really the GPA that jumps out, and when one has a lower than average GPA, the best remedy for it is a stellar GMAT/GRE...but your result doesn't meet that mark. Did you attend a very challenging rigorous undergraduate program? Are there any extenuating circumstances - like perhaps your GPA is converted from another scale and your 3.1 is actually a 'top-5% of your class' kind of performance? Are you from the USA or somewhere else? If not the USA, is your home country under-represented in the applicant pool? Where are you hoping to land post-MBA?

malb22 Likes Earned: 1 I am considering retaking the GMAT, targeting a 750 score. I am also from the GCC, which I assume is under-represented. As for my GPA it is from a top US state school but I have no excuses for that. (1)
