Pursuing my MBA to pivot from Oil & Gas Engineering to Management Consulting (McKinsey/BCG) post-MBA. My experience at supermajor has been designing and optimizing energy generation for refining and chemical plants. Identifying innovative ways to provide energy is what I'd like to pursue ultimately long-term. Specifically, driving the sustainable scale-up and deployment of clean energy technologies.

To get there, I want to hone my advisory expertise and understand the challenges faced at an organizational level. Would like to be in consulting within the Energy/Utilities sector.

Numbers are great (was undergrad in US, assume chemical engineering?) showing impact at work and outside of work will be important. Goals make good sense. First Gen college student adds colour, nice that you are supporting that community. Performing in band also adds. Are you applying to these programs in round 1? anon22776 Likes Earned: 155 Consulting at MBB is always good at any top 10 so a big differentiator will be your long term plan. Based on your long term plan, you school selections are good. If you need 1 more, I will suggest Sloan, Fuqua, McCombs or Tepper. Best of luck to you. (0)
