Likes Earned: 1572 Interesting side business, should add some colour to your candidacy, especially if that’s the reason for business school. 3.2 masters GPA sounds a little on the lower end, honestly, but overall numbers appear to be OK (without standing out). Any geographic preference, post MBA? (0)

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1145 Did you pursue the masters in accounting part time while working? I am curious to better contextualize the 3.2 GPA (which is lower than your 3.46 ugrad). The underwear business sounds interesting - certainly not something admissions readers hear about every day :) - so that could play really well in terms of adding some color to your profile. Target schools seem solid, although I am curious to know more about your long term plan and how you've settled on target firms, geographies, etc. Best of luck!

anon12109 Likes Earned: 10 The masters was a one year Full time program and I had no undergrad background in accounting and that is probably why I had a lower gpa than my undergrad. My undergrad was a humanities major. I would like to pursue consulting because it exposes me to c suite level issues and deals with customer service which I believe I will encounter with my business. My cofounder is also pursuing an MBA for marketing to help with the marketing side of things for our business. Our long term goal is to get our business up and running but we need to develop the proper skills before we Can do that. (1)
