Notes:

3.27 GPA from an unranked state school. Great football though. Also, had an excruciating circumstance to explain GPA.

6 Years progressive leadership experience, but in small digital marketing agencies. Ran my own SEO consultancy for a year but Covid killed my clientele and I found work elsewhere. Lot of international and consulting experience working with VC-backed tech clients on digital marketing strategy. Serving on the boards of 2 non-profits that serve the veteran community (Dad was a 100% disabled veteran). White male American with Lebanese citizenship. Post-MBA I plan to transition into a generalist consulting role where I can work on more holistic business strategies while still serving as a marketing and tech expert.

Have you considered retaking the GMAT, and/or doing MBA Math etc? You’ll need to do a good job of showing impact at work, weaving a narrative of positive progression, despite COVID set back, etc? What are your long term goals? (0)

jameseffarah Likes Earned: 14 All Round 1 applications. Early interview invite to Vandy. Interviewing with oxford next week. GMAT is final. Probably won’t be taking MBA Math but might if R1 doesn’t work out for any of these schools. Long term goals are to utilize breadth of experience in consulting to transition into a marketing or strategy leadership role at a large tech firm.
