Worked with an HR Technology company as a marketer for 5 years, took the brand internationally at the world's biggest HR Tech conference and secured analyst and press coverage. Moved to Product Management & Implementation Consulting for 2 years now - managed the implementation of our HR system at a big government agency in Egypt, a hotel group in KSA, and a multinational logistics company in UAE. Designed and implemented our internship program. Currently helping a friend with the launch of a healthtech startup.

Looking to get an MBA with a tech and analytics focus and come back to my HR Tech career in Egypt to improve the country's talent competitiveness and tech readiness.

Likes Earned: 1149 There are a lot of positives here; you have a nice focus on HR Tech, come from an under-represented region of the world (when it comes to MBA applicants), and your goals make sense vis a vis your long-term plans. The notion that you hope to return to Egypt in the long-term and help improve conditions there is something that will be well-received by the admissions readers. The two challenges you may face are: a) your age - since 8 years of work experience puts you on the older end of the spectrum, and b) your GMAT result, which is a good 40 points below the average at the top schools on your list. For a) I think you can navigate it with strong applications and 'why MBA'/'why now' logic. For b) have you thought about retaking the test? Are you applying in R2? Perhaps you can apply, and indicate to the schools that a retake is forthcoming (assuming you feel you could perform at a higher level)? Best of luck and thanks for sharing your unique profile.
