Within marketing, I want to further be in the niche of streaming platforms - whether in the strategic marketing side of things or product marketing.
From my list, Stanford and Columbia are "reaches" in my opinion. I feel I have a good shot with Kelloggs and Ross due to the kind of impact on numbers I have had with my existing work (+ have also won awards for my campaigns). I have leadership experience, agency experience, brand experience, volunteer experience and teaching experience so I feel everything gets covered in my resume.
I am unsure about where I land for HEC as a lot of people have told me they usually take people with 6 years of experience.
IE and IESE are more of a backup.
Are there any unis I should from a marketing perspective?

Likes Earned: 0 Are you targeting Columbia for their early decision round? Wharton is also top notch for marketing. Where, geographically, do you want to be, post MBA? Being from India, you’ll likely be over-represented in the pool, so I wonder if it might be worth trying to boost your GMAT? What was your class rank, do you know? (0)

janya Likes Earned: 1 Yes, I am aiming for early decisions for all the US options. Basis understanding from everyone about the employment market, US might be the better option to stay after MBA. Its not a definite yes I'd like to stay in US forever, but definitely a couple of years. To be honest, it took a lot of time and effort to get this score for GMAT and I don't want to miss out on the work experience I am getting from my current job. Class rank was about 14 out of 60 basis my GPA - there was also a positive trend in my GPA throughout. My final dissertation however was the highest scored in class. (0)

janya Likes Earned: 1 No, I don't have any preference. I am still trying to figure the whole EU vs US battle. Yes, for sure Europe has streaming opportunities but I have heard the language barrier really causes some problems. I am still connecting with various alumni to understand from their experience what would be the best. With US, the visa in the future is what seems to be the biggest negative factor till now. As of now I am continuing to build my resume and profile as much as possible. I have luckily gotten opportunities at my current work place to work closely with the new business teams across Singapore, Australia and India. I have done a 6 month data analytics course which I am not applying at my current work place to build better processes and reporting structures. It's currently award season in the marketing world and till now a campaign that I led has won 4 awards (hopefully more to come) Are there any other suggestions you may have for me to build on profile more?
