Notes:

I am a manager at a consulting firm (tier right below MBB) and have worked in New York City (1 year), Singapore (1.5 years) and now London (1.5 years). My undergraduate institution was a top 5 NESCAC school in the NorthEast. I have a passion for healthcare, which is where the majority of my consulting projects have been, and after my MBA I look to set up my own business in the realm of population health.

Outside of work I am an avid squash player - frequently take part in tournaments (won team tournament in NYC and individual tournament in London).

Excelling at sports is a nice addition, also. Kellogg makes sense also, I think. Probably good to target round 1, assuming you have everything ready. (1)

Likes Earned: 1152 There is a lot to like here: top liberal arts college, solid numbers (though I am confused by the GPA - did your college not use standard US grading?), and very interesting international work experience. I am curious as to your personal background and nationality; do you have a US passport? I'd also like to know more about your goals, and how you might take the entrepreneurial leap (ideally in the healthcare domain?)... We'll discuss on the podcast for sure, but if your goals are sound, and in healthcare, I'd think you line up nicely for a top school. Have you reached out to the HCM program leadership at Wharton? anon30674 Likes Earned: 10 Thanks Alex and Graham! Really appreciate the feedback: (1) GPA: was 3.80! Sorry about the confusion (2) Thought about Kellogg too (given strength in healthcare). Only drawback is it’s not on the east coast, but would be very lucky to go there! (3) Yes trying to get all the ducks lined up for Round 1 iA :) (4) I have a Pakistani passport (5) Have thought about the HCM program! I have not reached out yet. Was a tough call - but feel (although not with much evidence at the moment) that the regular Wharton admission process might be less competitive for me. Also love that you can craft your own major (would like to blend Healthcare with Entrepreneurship and International Business) (5) Yes the leap into entrepreneurship would be into healthcare! Would love to use technology to help improve population health management! (1)
