Notes:

Currently at a tech company (one of Airbnb, Uber, Doordash) working on strategy focused on a new product, and have multiple direct reports.
Have done extensive volunteering in education-based initiatives, including starting a (very local) nonprofit providing educations to homeless shelters. Want to work for an ed-tech post-MBA and then eventually found my own. Mainly want to get an MBA for the entrepreneurship resources / mentorship and network for my long-term goal.

Also not interested in any West Coast schools because I really did not enjoy living on the West Coast and will not go back.

Showing impact and growth at work is important, ECs sound great, nice tie to your goals, too. Are you also considering a move to London (LBS) or planning to be in the states, post MBA? Any context surrounding your GPA? Super GMAT, helps. (0)

anon49245 Likes Earned: 2 Hey Alex, thank you for the response! I applied CBS, Sloan, and LBS in R1; CBS Early Decision. I'm actually a reapplicant for CBS since I applied ED last year and was rejected without an interview. This time around, I improved my GMAT from 740->750, got a team switch + promotion, and now manage people. Since I think my goals can be achieved with any top school (entrepreneurship resources), one of my main criteria for school selection is city. I'm not sure if I want to live in Philly, but maybe I'll add Kellogg to the list. Also one thing I need to do is term-time internships, which I would imagine is much easier to do in large cities like NYC and London. Will add NYU to the list as well. I currently live in NYC, which mak No context on GPA unfortunately. I did have leadership roles in a few organizations and joined a ton of social ones as a member. (1)

7utgh Likes Earned: 2 n semester internships for experience. Would either be a startup or a small VC. Trying to maximize all of the startup experience I can while in business school for my long-term goal. Will add Wharton to the list then (1)
