I want an MBA to access US/global opportunities in consulting and/or building and scaling ventures in the short-term, then return to Southeast Asia and build new businesses in the long-term.
Non-US citizen from the Philippines with 4 years of full-time work experience working at the HoldCo of a large conglomerate.
My area of expertise is internal corporate innovation and strategy consulting. I work closely with the C-Level of our portfolio composed of the biggest companies in the country, leading projects and engagements to form and inform innovation strategy across diverse industries. I also have extensive experience ideating and testing new business models and concepts, leading workshops, facilitating corporate-startup partnerships, and convening internal communities and fora composed of senior stakeholders and innovation professionals. I am also frequently entrusted by senior leaders with special projects, such as leading workstreams that showcase the company to foreign partners and consulting with and taking care of visiting M7 professors.
My recommenders are senior leaders and M7 alums that I have worked directly with over the years.
I graduated with a Political Economy degree from a university in the US with a 3.4 GPA, and have also worked frequently in summer and long-term (6 month) internships since my freshman year in a variety of roles and industries (renewables, asset management, management consulting, policy & foreign affairs).
