grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1149 Thanks for your post! Amazing GPA! Any details you'd care to share with respect to the type of school attended, major, etc.? Your GMAT feels low for the vast majority of programs on your list...have you taken it more than once? Being sponsored (along with that stellar GPA) should give you a leg up in the admissions process, and I do like the EdTech focus (and your ECs!), but I just wonder if your GMAT will hold you back somewhat. accountingnerd123 Likes Earned: 9 Hi Graham - Thank you for the comments! 690 was unfortunately the 3rd attempt (rose each time). Also have a 322 GRE if that is worth anything. I attended a top 15 state school and majored in Accounting & Finance, was heavily involved and still engaged with the school. Do you think the subpar GMAT is worth waiting to round 2? (0)

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1149 Thanks for those added details. You raise an interesting point regarding g the 322 vs. the 690. My initial thought is for you to submit the GRE, but I’d absolutely want to know your percentiles on both tests before making the call. In essence both results will sit below the average at many of your targets, but the GMAT misses the 700-mark, whereas the GRE does cross that 320-barrier…. I should also add that since class profiles and rankings often headline with GMAT results, you might make it easier on your target schools by giving them the GRE (if you think of a below-average GMAT as ‘hurting’ their stats a bit more than a below-average GRE)… (1)

accountingnerd123 Likes Earned: 9 Thank you Graham and Alex - appreciate the insights here! My main "issue" was that the 322 converted to a 660 GMAT and my quant score via the ETS comparison was extremely low (161 -> 42), whereas on the GMAT I scored a 47. But thanks again and I will let you know how things ends up, I have received interviews at all 6 thus far! (1)
