I would love some insight on my profile. I'm a soon-to-be third-year consultant at a mid-tier firm, focusing on supply chain strategy. My goal is to pivot into more acquisition or product strategy after my MBA. I studied Industrial Engineering at a top 10 undergraduate engineering program in the USA, but never quite aced the classroom during the COVID era/dealt with some family challenges. Shooting to apply ED/R1 to most of these schools in Fall 2024. Also potentially planning on retaking the GRE if necessary. Thanks for any insight!

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1586 The biggest challenge will be to overcome your lower GPA. I think retaking the GRE makes good sense, in that regard. It might also be worth taking GMACs Business Fundamentals, or similar, to show you’re prepared and committed to the academics.

sn0100 Likes Earned: 0 This is super helpful! I am seriously considering taking GMAC's Business Fundamentals but was concerned about it simply coming off as being "for show" on my application. At work alone, I lead an ERG, as well as several internal initiatives within my practice, as well as geo. Outside of work, I volunteer at a Children's hospital in my free time but will have only been doing it for under a year by the time I apply. Knowing this now, would leave to hear more @alexbr4. (0)
