grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1155 Sorry to hear about your results with HBS and CBS. I should think your GMAT/GPA tandem is strong enough to keep you in the mix (and ideally in the interview-invited group) at any of these targets (including HBS and CBS). As such, I am a bit concerned about possible application execution issues....that either your work experience (how it was positioned), your goals (clear, feasible?), your LORs, your ECs - or some combination of any of these - may be dragging you down. You can see what comes across from MIT and Wharton in the coming days here, but if you end up having to look to R2, I'd recommend a rethink/close look at your files. Best of luck!

In terms of impact I talk about selected investments I worked on and in terms of extracurriculars - I co-founded a green start up incubator while in undergrad (want to do ESG/social impact investing long term post IB) and currently mentor local at risk youth in my community. Also passed CFA L1 for what it’s worth. Agreed on all points regarding NYU and possible app execution. Would love to be featured on the podcast or receive a supplemental comment if you have time.
