Notes:

I graduated from a top public university and started working in corporate venture capital at a Fortune 500 company. We were a strategic VC, so my role was to connect start-ups to internal innovation teams for product development and strategic market entry. I then moved to a non-profit to be a project manager. I am looking to combine my technology interest with my project management experience to start a career in product development and corporate strategy. I have become very involved in the community via my workplace where I have established an internal Community Service organization that is becoming ingratiated into the culture here.

Duke is my primary target school due to their culture, concentrations, alumni engagement, ability to support students not interested in consulting, and location.

Great GPA, GRE might be OK, but do you think there’s any opportunity to improve the score? You might want to target a few more programs, either in the same tier as Duke, or even in the tiers above? cwink458 Likes Earned: 3 Thanks for the feedback! I would really not love to take the GRE again, but I wouldn't be completely opposed to the idea. Outside of work, I play tennis, I am involved in my church, I travel, and I take care of my 4 rescue dogs. In all honesty, Duke is my top program because of its caliber combined with its affordable cost of living. My partner and I will need to purchase a house, and Durham is close to our families (Atlanta) and affordable. I have considered UVA, but the program doesn't entice me as much as Duke. I would appreciate any thoughts you'd like to share on this. (1)
