Notes:

Took GRE (posted GMAT equivalent because it is more quickly understood on this forum): Verbal 170/170 (99%ile), Quant 164/170 (88%ile). Applied R3 for 2017 intake and am currently WL at Yale SOM. My feedback from the admissions office was lack of space (nothing was offered as particularly lacking, though I'm sure my UG GPA was not particularly helpful nor my lack of math coursework -- even though I'm a HS math teacher). Have a Masters degree in an education-related field from a top Ed School. Also URM and LGBTQ+. I am planning to apply R1 to Yale SOM again and to Harvard and one of the other listed schools (Wharton? GSB?). Anywho, good luck to us all!

OP Likes Earned: 0 Also, considering retaking GRE to boost math. Did not prepare at all outside of the three mock tests included in the official GRE guide, on which I scored a 167-170 each time. Verbal could gal, though probably not below a 168 or so. Most tell me that my time is better spent on other aspects of the application. Do you all agree? (0)

Anon Likes Earned: 0 What are your post MBA goals? That's an important factor, re school selection. Your experience will add a level of diversity. Apply round 1 for Yale, other schools, round 2 should be fine. (0)

OP Likes Earned: 0 My post-MBA goal is to work for a school district in an administrative capacity (superintendent's office, strategy office, etc...) or with a social impact business (preferably in the education realm). I am limiting my search to schools with loan repayment assistance programs for this reason. (0)
