I'm an African passionate about Energy. I have an engineering background and over 5 years of experience in an energy multinational. I have worked in 3 different African countries. Today I'm a Project Manager based in Nigeria. I want to get an MBA to become a transformative leader in the clean energy sector. I want to help big organisations transition to more sustainable energy. This goal is rooted in my work and life experiences. I wrote an article on Energy Planing in a Subsaharian African country. Out of work I'm passionate about football which I play at an amateur level. Other EC: mentorship of students interested in Engineering. Cocoa farm and community reach related to fire prevention and cocoa processing.

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1572 Will your long term goal take you back to Africa, where you can have most impact? I’d target 1-2 more M7 programs, and maybe Haas/Tuck. Work experience sounds great, good ECs, too. There’s a lot to like here, no doubt. (1)

anon16575 Likes Earned: 3 Thank you Alex. Yes, I'm just interested in a stint in mature energy markets. Long term I want to work in Africa definetely. Ideally I would like to find a multinational company with businesses or projects in Africa. Round 2 I have Sloan, Booth and Haas in mind. But my dream is really HSW. I love SOM too. Insead is great but I'm afraid that 1 year would be too intense. I really want to use my MBA as a transformative experience. Please just a question, for my GPA, will adcom consider the fact that I studied engineering in Africa (less inflated GPA, so I heard)? (1)
