I would really appreciate feedback. Major concern is the GMAT clearly. May be able to retake but only after application. Deadline in 4 days. Background:Nigerian;Female;30;Mother of two
WE: Samsung Electronics - Product Manager. with International experience working in Samsung HQ in Korea for a year. Strong ECs -Pianist, won National piano competition. Chess club in Uni. (won gold medal in Inter- University games)
MSc at University College London. BSc Nigeria. Also started my apparel company recently with decent achievements.

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1576 The GMAT is low, as you've identified, but there's probably a lot to like about your candidacy, so I'd go ahead and apply. Hopefully your essays and recs will be strong. I'd add a note in your optional Essay that you plan to retake the GMAT. Hopefully you'll get a more reflective score, with some strong preparation. (0)

The GMAT is a concern given INSEAD's average is much higher (and even taking into account the fact that fewer applicants from your market apply). I'd apply now, indicate that you have a planned retake and then buckle down for some serious prep (consider a tutor) and submit the new score as soon as you have it. Of course, you should only promise a retake if you genuinely plan to take the test again, since the adcom will likely await the new result/expect to see it. There are many compelling aspects to your profile, so be sure to showcase them effectively with a strong set of application materials. Best of luck! (0)
