The combo of GRE/GPA is on the lighter side. Have you considered a GRE retake? Work experience might be interesting, especially if you can show persistent impact. Undergrad in Economics at a small liberal arts university Work experience... Started in a leadership development training program for future nonprofit leaders, then have had progressive leadership roles in two high-impact orgs, worked closely with Governor of the state, and served on nonprofit boards outside of work (1)

Hopefully you have strong recs to support your impact, etc. Congrats on Ross invite, good positive signal. The key will be to demonstrate you'll thrive in their program, especially academically. Solid recs from board chairman, mentor as a former CEO/Chairman of a Fortune 500 company, and a PE managing director board member. Definitely focused on explaining how to thrive academically, but feel confident so far! (1)

anon39538 Likes Earned: 3 OP here: Heard from all schools... Waitlist at Ross & Kellogg, turn-down from Anderson, GSB, and Wharton. Encouraged by Adcoms at multiple schools to consider Evening & Weekend program/Fully-Employed program, etc. given my professional background. I think I did not do an adequate job articulating my strong desire for a full-time program vs. a supplement to my current career path. I'm now considering Round 3/4 apps (Haas, Kenan-Flagler), and/or take the GRE again online, and/or providing a compelling update as to why full-time makes sense for my path... Any recommendations? alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1580 You have two paths to take, simultaneously. Work the two waitlists, and apply in the next round. If you can retake the GRE, that should help both cases. I would do whatever you can for the waitlists to show your commitment to their programs, how that's evolved through the application process. You might also consider enrolling in MBA Math type program, to reinforce the same, especially if GRE retake becomes tricky. (0)
