Want to use my unique and diverse experiences as an engineer to learn management and strategy principles in order to transition into management consulting. I want to continue to help organizations solve their most difficult problems; but transition from technical engineering problems in organizational and strategic management problems.

Anon Likes Earned: 0 This sounds like a natural mba path forward for an engineer. Important to be able to demonstrate impact at work. Any ECs? Make sure to nail the "why now" aspect of your application. Assuming your applying to some programs in round 1, you can readjust for round 2 if necessary. (0)

@Stan Likes Earned: 0 Your story makes sense, and is not an uncommon one. I do wonder to what extent you might be able to give your long-term goals somewhat of a focus on aviation/transportation (to help set you apart a bit). I also think that while your target schools make sense here, you don't have much of a range. In other words, you may need to add a school from the next tier down if you are dead set on starting next fall. Best of luck! (0)
