So happy to go to my first pick IESE with scholarship, I had virtual meetings with 25 students/alumni at the school and was enamored, wanted this so bad. For students with low GPA’s and medium test scores, cast a wide net. Be willing to be vulnerable in your essays/interviews, believe that you are good enough, because you are! All it takes is one.

Yeah I’ve had a couple people make fun of me for only applying to schools in Western Europe and the Southern US, since they have very little in common, but those are just the two places that my wife and I like to live, so sorry haha. If Owen’s welcome weekend had been in person, or they had been willing to negotiate with me for scholarship it probably would have been a tighter race. The team at Owen have been so thoughtful, I would have had an incredible experience there, but the chance to live in Barcelona and pay 40k less at in tuition at IESE compared to Vanderbilt was difficult to resist. I’m certainly nervous about finding the right job in Europe, but hopeful that IESE has the tools to help me make the jump. (5)
