grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1461 Congrats on your acceptances at all of these programs! I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "no option for NUS" - does that mean you have taken it off your list? Or are you indicating that you received some scholarship from the Spanish schools but not NUS? If scholarship dollars are involved, can you share the amounts? That may play a role in the decision. As to how you should proceed, I think that most people would argue that IESE is the clear standout here when it comes to both ranking and reputation. Their program is ranked in the top-10 globally by the Financial Times, and most would place it easily in the top 5 for Europe. In short, the caliber and diversity of students you find at IESE will be at a very high level. If you want to work in Europe, it feels like the best option. Of course, if your goal is to work long-term in SE Asia in technology, then the Singapore option does come more into view... As an aside, I should state that I don't see a lot of short-term paths to working for any of your target firms in the USA (in case that's what you were targeting...but presumably you are not, given your school selection). You may want to have a talk with the career placement team at IESE to see what they have to say about your odds of landing work in the EU as an Indian national and to 'level set' in terms of expectations. I'd start there and perhaps connect with other Indians who have attended IESE as well. Best of luck!

anon39547 Likes Earned: 1 Thank you, Graham. By "no option for NUS" I meant that there was no option to select NUS in the school dropdown while adding the details. I do not have any scholarship offers from these schools. Also, I have also received admits from Babson ($20K/year scholarship) and Georgetown (No $) in the last few days. So now have to decide between Europe (IESE/ ESADE), US (Babson/ Georgetown) and Singapore (NUS). I am open to working in either geography and would prefer the ones with better career options. IESE is the better option in terms of rank, reputation, diversity as well as its reach across Europe. Babson/ Georgetown have a lower ranking in comparison but would provide good opportunities in the US, although the visa situation is worrisome. And NUS has a bit more regional reach as compared to the rest and would have lesser diversity as well. Please provide your insights and suggest how to proceed further. (1)

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1461 Thanks for the update, and congrats on the news out of Babson and Georgetown! While I know you are pretty open geographically, I think that narrowing those preferences (to an extent) will really facilitate your decision making here. The reason I say this is because if you knew you wanted to be in the USA after business school, your absolute best chance of landing there is going to be by attending an MBA program in that market. Similarly, if you want to land in the EU, IESE makes a ton of sense...and NUS for SE Asia. Of course, one of the keys here is to assess the options for working in these markets post-MBA as a non-citizen. Have you looked into whether or not either of your US options (Georgetown or Babson) have STEM certification? How about the general policies in Spain and the EU towards MBA graduates looking to stay and work? This feels like pretty vital information to gather as you make a decision. In short, if you want to work at a major US tech company (in the US) Georgetown (with its global brand and top-25 status) becomes very compelling from this list - assuming there is a path towards working in-market. Similarly, IESE remains a fantastic option for Europe and Latin America. I'd dig deep into the career opportunities out of these two programs (perhaps via conversations with their career services offices and Indian alumni) and try to make a decision that way.
