Intrigued by Sloan's program, but leaning Wharton. Ultimately, I think Wharton will align better with my post-MBA goals (Business Development or investments focusing on media - I will be making a jump from Corporate Finance within Media). Would love to hear thoughts from those who made/are making a similar decision.

anon42780 Likes Earned: 1 I think it comes down to Wharton vs Sloan. Sloan has the Media Lab you can leverage but the brand and investment OCR opportunities will be stronger at Wharton. I wouldn't place too much an emphasis on scholarships given the type of work you will be entering. I'd say Wharton overall. (0)

anon28599 Likes Earned: 76 I had a similar decision 2 years ago. I was looking to continue working in the media industry (TV content). Ultimately I chose Sloan, due to its connection with the media lab and overall MIT alumni in the industry. Got the internship of my dreams last summer (through Media Lab Connections) and I am going back full time. I will say, my decision went down to fit. I wanted a smaller program, where the field I was looking to go into bared more weight in the overall student body (not just everyone focused in finance, or consulting etc). But I don't think there are wrong options here! Consider them both, go to the admit weekends! Good luck! (0)
