anon92625 Likes Earned: 8 I think it’s between HBS, Kellogg, and Ross, yeah. I’ve heard it said that consulting recruiting is “more about the person than the school” and I wouldn’t necessarily mind T2, so it’s hard not to consider the full ride. Although, if Kellogg provides any additional support through scholarship negotiation, I’ll likely go there. I think HBS might be too expensive for me, but I’m really holding on to the idea of the case method as someone who can be shy. For location I like northeast, southeast, and midwest. Long term goals are in consumer goods. (0)

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1584 I’d visit their admit weekends, where you can. HBS can be very hard to turn down, if you can make the finances work. The data from schools shows a distinct bias in recruiting for MBB at the very top programs. But I understand the economic argument, etc. (0)

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1584 The case method will be used by all top programs, to some degree. But HBS obviously uses it as the primary means of instruction. I think it’s a great way to learn, in most cases.

Your school network and consulting network will help serve up the pathway to consumer goods. So there will be some impact. Perhaps also looked at LinkedIn at some of the top firms you’re looking at?
