WL at Booth. I'm basically trying to determine if the Kellogg name is worth all the debt I'd incur.

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1577 Both schools will provide access to MBB recruiting, but Kellogg is a tier above. Both great options. Debt is an issue, but consulting is a high earning career. (0)

anon97226 Likes Earned: 1 Personally, I would choose Tuck unless you really want Kellogg. Kellogg is a slightly better school, but IMO it’s negligible when considering the full ride from Tuck. You will have strong access to MBB from both schools. They are very different environments, but as long as you feel like you’d be happy at Tuck, I’d go there. I feel like spending $150K more just because Kellogg is an M7 and Tuck is only T10 is splitting hairs. (1)

From my interactions with the students and alumni as well as the research I've done, both schools seem to have very similar cultures that I'd mesh well with, so I'm fairly certain I'd be happy at either school (obviously, a lack of debt will add a something extra to my happiness!). Anything else you'd think I should consider? Also anyone facing the same decision? (0)

I think the fit at Tuck is better for me and that I would have way more fun there, but I think Kellogg sets me up a little bit better long term and I think the job ops will be more diverse out of Kellogg. I go back and forth on this literally every single day lol (0)

I think I'm currently leaning towards Tuck because having minimal debt is very enticing, the students there seem to be a bit more tightly-knit than those at Kellogg, and, so far, I've been bombarded with welcoming messages from current Tuck students and alums - something I haven't experienced to the same degree with Kellogg. It's so difficult to choose though, and I've been surprised to discover that I know about 10 other people deciding between these two programs as well! (0)
