Waitlisted at UNC in R2. Full tuition scholarships to Olin and Wisconsin. I really don't know what school to choose or if I should get my MBA now. I am 24 and will barely have 2 years of full time professional work experience when I enroll. Currently on a low income salary. Could really use advice.

mbafan24 Likes Earned: 1 I could definitely improve the score. I could live anywhere but I am not a fan of the hustle and bustle of large cities. I am hesitant about securing a role that will give me the experiences I need to get admitted into top schools. Rice is also an attractive option right now. I am working on submitting a scholarship reconsideration letter (0)

As Alex said, you likely would be an even stronger candidate a year from now with another year of work experience. In addition, if you are really aiming for a career in a top MBB consulting firm, your odds of achieving this goal would be enhanced by waiting another year and gaining admission to higher ranked MBA programs. On the other hand, waiting another year would defer your post MBA career by a year as well. In addition, if you are open to a broader range of consulting jobs then selecting one of these programs would be a decent option. (2)
