Notes:

Waitlisted at Duke. Disappointed with no $ from Darden but applying for reconsideration. Darden has always been my top choice. Case method, location (DC post grad location), culture, etc. But hard to turn down free education at UNC.... Rankings and post-grad employment is important so UVA is stronger there. Any thoughts to help make this decision?

So it would be down to your risk tolerance and ability to self finance. And the potential for better outcomes and networks at the higher tier programs. Classmates do matter, but at what cost? (0)

eliot Verified User. Likes Earned: 1857 Congrats on your acceptances and scholarship offers to three great MBA programs. In terms of MBB placement, you will maximize your MBB chances by attending either Ross or Darden. In addition, you can easily finance your MBA tuition via student loans and cover the payments with an MBB career. On the other hand, if you are interested in a consulting career but open to non MBB consulting firms, then the full ride at Kenan Flagler is a great option. Having said this, I give a slight edge to Kenan Flagler. Given they are offering a large scholarship and with a focused effort, you can still be in the running for an MBB consulting job from Kenan Flagler. Best of luck. (0)
