I am a 30+ international applicant, hoping to career pivot to consulting (not sure if MBB would be possible considering my age and background). Scholarship is a huge consideration for me and I would eliminate schools with 0 scholarships granted. Prestige is also important if I happen to work outside of the US.

anon10646 Likes Earned: 777 I would absolutely not have the mindset that being 30+ eliminates you from MBB. Consulting is probably the broadest industry for applicable background and experience. (2)

I got half scholarship at Johnson through negotiation and since the financial input is the same (both half scholarship), I am seriously struggling between Darden and Johnson. Each has its own pros and cons considering the global prestige, the consulting placement and teaching style. Is consulting really is that strong in Darden that I can ignore the Ivy name or it's not really such a huge difference that I should have a more balanced decision combining the outcome of Ivy+good consulting placement (1)

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1588 For MBA, I’d tilt towards Darden. Both programs are in the same tier. Johnson might have an edge for banking, but Darden is strong for consulting. Its case method helps in that regard, too. (0)
