Carey is much lower risk, given the scholarship offer, but you’d really need to figure out if Carey can provide you access to where you want to go, in the longer and short run. Do you have a geographic goals, post MBA? (0)

eliot Verified User. Likes Earned: 2093 Congrats on your acceptance to Kenan Flagler and your full ride to Carey. The Carey offer is quite tempting because the full scholarship dramatically lowers your cost of attending business school. Of course, Carey has the strongest network in Arizona and Southern California so if you attend Carey you will most likely end up in fintech consulting job or general management job in Phoenix, LA or San Diego. You can always make your way back the to the US east coast later. Alternatively, if you want to land an East Coast job from Carey, you could use your tuition savings to buy a lot of plane tickets to attend recruiting events on the East Coast. My advice is to do your due diligence by chatting with current students at Carey about their job placements and speak with current students who have landed jobs on the East Coast. Best of luck. (0)
