Leaning towards LBS but I am also very impressed by the faculty and MBA experience at IMD. On the waitlist for INSEAD.

anon10646 Likes Earned: 885 The EU schools tend to have large deposits, but I'd likely put the deposit down at LBS before the deadline if not off the waitlist at INSEAD; cross that bridge if needed. (1)

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1461 Congrats on all of these offers! What is your long-term career plan and how important will the brand/network size be to those plans? Are you planning to return to India and work in the family business for the entirety of your career? Are you hoping to expand that business elsewhere? In the UK? On the continent? Have you explored the alumni networks for each program in your target market/industry? The answers to these questions should provide some guidance on your choice. Both LBS and IMD are very prestigious programs, and arguably in a different tier than Babson (although it's always hard to compare schools from different markets, and if your goal was to start your own business in Boston, Babson might become more appealing, etc.). In short, a lot of this needs to come down to your personal preferences and goals. Best of luck!

dandannoodle Likes Earned: 7 The network is a significant factor to me. Given that I am looking to return to my family business, I am looking for a great peer group that is more entrepreneurial and with a good amount of other family business candidates. I do plan to return to my family business in India immediately after the mba and grow it. But I also plan to start my own ventures on the side most probably within the realm of luxury and consumer goods. I am also looking to learn under some great faculty. While I know LBS is a great program its recent dip in the rankings makes me question if IMD or HEC or INSEAD(if I get it) might be a better option. (1)
