Waitlisted at Duke and turned down CMU. Between UNC and Owen I am leaning UNC as I want to stay east coast (philly, DC, atlanta), I enjoyed Carolina's visit a bit more than Owen's, the network is larger, UNC's sports cancel out Nashville's nightlife for me, and I believe UNC has a bit stronger recruiting into healthcare consulting.

UNC is well known for strength in consulting (with a curricular track 'consulting concentration' that gets rave reviews from employers and students alike), so it sounds like a nice fit. While the money is nice from Owen, you got almost that same amount from Tepper...so if this were really about the cash, one would assume you would have headed to Pittsburgh (given rankings, etc.). But clearly, this is about more than just the scholarship dollars, and it sounds like you've found your fit in Chapel Hill. Best of luck to you!

anon26329 Likes Earned: 12 OP Here: 2 Major reasons: 1. Ultimately want to end up in Healthcare Consulting and then on to Healthcare, but as a career-switcher UNC/Vandy, to me, have much more robust Healthcare curriculum. 2. I completed my undergrad in Pittsburgh, and while I love the city and enjoy my visits, I want to go somewhere new. I already have a strong network there and would love to live in the south for a couple of years. Of course if I get off of Duke's waitlist then you'll see me posting here again lol (1)
