Anonymous Likes Earned: 0 I'd take the money. I met a few people at BDW who chose Fuqua over Kellogg without any money in the equation- not saying it's common but it isn't totally unheard of. Considering you have the money I think it makes total sense here. If you're strong enough to get money at Fuqua you'll still get the same interviews, after that it doesn't matter if you're at Fuqua or Kellogg. I'm assuming you've already made up your mind though considering deposits are due today... Congrats! (0)

Anonymous Likes Earned: 0 If you're looking to go into MBB consulting, Kellogg is more likely to get you there and the $65K won't matter much in the long term. If you're looking at boutique consulting, both will do just fine and I'd personally take the $. (0)

Anonymous Likes Earned: 0 Both will get you to MBB consulting, and Duke has a higher yield going into MBB if you look at students admitted vs students applied. Duke is also slightly ahead in non-profit/social impact placements. I would take the scholarship and have more $ in your pocket after graduation since you'll likely be working in the same companies anyway (0)

Anon Likes Earned: 0 You shouldn't discount Duke, it has a smaller class size and it's basically the best school in the area - so you'll have an edge in terms of recruitment (0)

Anon Likes Earned: 0 Go with fit, visit both schools and see which you like most. IMO Duke is the best school within the research triangle so it could probably land you a MBB job easier than Kellogg does, so you will most likely end up in the same firm anyway. (0)
