I was just accepted off the MIT waitlist. I’ve committed to NYU but want to get thoughts on if the MIT acceptance should chance my decision. I live in NYC currently and would like to be there post-MBA. Career goal is tech product management, but I’m also very interested in joining a healthtech startup

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1603 Stern with a full ride, and a desire to remain in NYC post MBA is quite compelling, for sure. Sloan is in the tier above, and might have some better access (in terms of healthcare startup ecosystem), but it’s not a straightforward decision. (0)

eliot Verified User. Likes Earned: 1869 Congrats on your acceptance to MIT Sloan, Darden, Booth and your full ride at Stern. Yes, Stern is quite compelling given the full scholarship and your desire to work in NYC. On the other hand, MIT Sloan is great for tech product management. So, I think your decision comes down to which variables are more important to you (NYU's location+ scholarship vs MIT's tech). (0)
