Overall really excited about Johnson. Currently waitlisted at Stern and Tuck, withdrew from waitlist at Marshall and rejected by Anderson. Planning on withdrawing from Stern and Tuck soon. Not sure if it is worth giving up deposit at Johnson to potentially join Stern or Tuck.

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1584 Johnson is a good feeder for IB into NYC, as I'm sure you're aware. Is there a reason to drop off the waitlists now? It might be worth hanging on if you think you might prefer the others, which some would argue may improve your options. (0)

anon32488 Likes Earned: 62 If I were you, I’d stay on the waitlists, but really start gearing up to attend Johnson. If anything, I’d use admissions at the other schools to fight for scholarship. Half of going to b school is knowing your resources and making connections, and I think that aspect of things trumps just jumping in off the waitlist...especially with I Banking recruiting being so early in the fall and with these schools being so close in ranking to each other. Last thing you want is to regret not being able to land the job you want because you didn’t leverage all the schools resources because of arguably a better name. If all these schools are going to cost full sticker price, then Johnson already saves you about 20K because of location. Also think about the environment you want to be in...if you’re excited for Johnson, it’s obviously a night and day difference going to Stern. Bottom line is that I think you’re in a great spot and should focus on being the best you can at Johnson. Good luck! (1)

Stay on the waitlists at Stern and Tuck as long as you can but start the process as if your going to attend Johnson since we’re so late in the cycle. Either way you will be able to accomplish your IB goals at any of the three schools so your in a great place. Johnson is cheaper, Ithaca is a fun area (I grew up there), and sends a ton of bankers to NYC. (1)

anon21585 Likes Earned: 57 OP - Thank you for the advice. I am confident I can land the job I want coming from Johnson. But there a few reasons I would consider Stern and Tuck if the opportunity was presented. However, I agree that I should dive into Johnson as if I am 100% going there. anon21585 Likes Earned: 57 OP - Applied January round, interview invite towards the end of January, did the interview end of February, waitlisted at the beginning of April, and accepted from the waitlist two weeks ago. (1)

anon10660 Likes Earned: 292 Congratulations! Johnson is a great program however, I agree with all above that you should stay on the waitlists of Stern and Tuck if you will pick them over Johnson( I would personally). However you already have a fantastic option in Johnson. (2)
