Waitlisted at Booth. I like Tuck's culture and brand but the scholarships at Darden and Fuqua are attractive. Not sure what to do!

anon35935 Likes Earned: 0 All 4 schools give you equal opportunity at MBB, its only about brand name, location and fit. If Booth gets converted into admit. Take it. I don't think its worth forgoing 50% scholarship at Fuqua/Darden for Tuck. So try negotiating a scholarship at Tuck. Between Darden and Fuqua I think it is more about fit, which school do you like more speak to fellow admitted students from both schools and may be current students it may give you an idea about the peers you will have which I think is important. Personally I would chose Darden over Fuqua. (0)

anon38761 Likes Earned: 0 Scholarship $ is really tempting but there are some things to consider: 1) Fuqua and Darden mbb recruiting are more regionally focused, feeding to D.C and Altlanta 2) Tuck's mbb conversion rate is in align with rest of m7. 3) Tuck sent just as many, if not more people to mbb than fuqua this past year with 200 less students per class (0)

anon12901 Likes Earned: 5 Difficult decision, however I would lean Fuqua/Darden hard. You will have access to MBB, and with a 750gmat and scholarship will stand out. 70k turns into 125k over the course of a 10 year loan. That is a material difference on your life. Booth would have been a tougher call but in this case, I can't make the case for Tuck over the other two. I'm sure you have already seen it, but I think Fuqua just released a pretty detailed employment report. Theirs is always more transparent than the others which is reassuring. (0)
