I was hoping for inputs - I am an international with a 310 GRE currently living in LA. Do you think it makes sense to apply to top 20 schools at this stage?

anon24545 Likes Earned: 45 If you mean in R3 and the one time R4 that some schools have come up with, then it depends. Because they must be looking for additional candidates who have higher probability of joining this fall - be it international or US. If you're currently in the US then sure apply, if you're in India, then it might not make a lot of sense. Applying next season makes total sense, since IMF has now said that we are officially in a recession. Though I expect it to be a lot more competitive. Therefore, you might wanna start on your application right away. (1)
