Question about Columbia

Hi! I am waitlisted after interview with Columbia. I am international and they wrote me to schedule a “Waitlist Check-in” (they tried to call). I will have it in a few hours. Any idea of what they will ask specifically? Any tips?

anon16553 Likes Earned: 126 Had the call earlier. Yep, they wanted to “corroborate interest”. Quite dissapointed with CBS admissions. It a great school but the impression they leave through the admission process is to that they are very insecure. Also quite surprised that they mentioned in the call that I filled the need based application…and if as such funding was important because they dis not have any funding left… so it seems they are not as need blind as they seem. They could have spared me the effort and application fee. (3)

anon16553 Likes Earned: 126 R2. No, just the call. My impression is that if you get the call they will accept you. But again, they left a terrible impression. They could be more confident about their program and the need base scholarship issue is truly unfair. (2)
