Rejected from all schools I applied to this year. 3.5 years work experience in retail and Ecommerce. Clearadmit friends, thank you for the posts and updates this last year. Made the process a lot less daunting. Looks like I'll have to reapply...maybe take the GMAT again.

Actual OP Likes Earned: 0 No, didn't apply to all M7. Had attempted UCLA and UNC as well. Thanks for the support @anonymous and @fellow intl waitlist. Hoping to address weaknesses and reapply. Thought GMAT was one of them. If anything else stands out to you guys, please let me know. Appreciate any tips on how to raise my profile for next time. (0)

Anonymous Likes Earned: 0 Did you get interview on any of the schools you applied to? If you did, then you need to work on your interview skills. If you didn't, try to work with a friend to help you on your resume and easy. The resume especially is one piece that people often neglects, but as a white guy with 3.2, 680 who got into GSB and Columbia with an interview at HBS (their interview really counts), I can attest how important is a strong resume. Anonymous Likes Earned: 0 I would focus on the resume and application rather than the GMAT. I am 3.0 with a 710. I am a white dude with an overrepresented job, got into Duke and Stern, interviewed at Booth and Kellogg(yes I know everyone does, i'm just giving stats), denied from Ross and Columbia. Keep your chin up. Think about applying early action somewhere and write a killer reapplicant essay. Hint: Addmissions counselors can make your stuff look very good. could be worth the money. (0)

BerkeleyBoy Likes Earned: 0 I know the feeling. 780 GMAT, 3.96 GPA with undergrad in Econ & Math. 5 years of work experience in a non-traditional field. Rejected from all schools except Haas, where I'm now on the summer waitlist. There was probably something about my application that raised concerns... the only alternative is that I got really unlucky. (0)

Actual OP Likes Earned: 0 @Anonymous (both of you): thank you for the tips. Got very few interview invites so you guys are probably right about strengthening CV and essays. Am definitely going to work with a counselor next time. Wondering if there's a way to connect with you outside this chat for some follow up questions (instead of spamming everyone on this thread). @Berkeley Boy: best of luck for summer waitlist.
