With 6 YOE, multiple promotions, and awards, I targeted an M7 despite a low GPA (3.22/5). I hoped my GRE and overall application would offset my GPA, but they didn’t.I'm grateful for the offers but, not thrilled. Will I be ridiculous to give up this offers to reapply to M7 in Sep. or should I be thinking about this differently?

Really choosing between LBS and Yale. I want to pivot in some fashion in the climate space (pro for Yale), and I want to have a dynamic US / Europe career. I have been living in the US for the past decade and have citizenship in both. Would have to build up a network in EU which I don't have. Could study abroad at both these schools. Advice?

Academics

Faculty

Goizueta has 106 faculty members who teach courses across five departments: accounting, finance, marketing, organization & management, and information systems & operation management. Students are given an intimate academic experience with a 5:1 student to faculty ratio. In addition to holding advanced degrees, many faculty members at Goizueta have practical business expertise through consulting, executive and entrepreneurial work histories.

Curriculum

The academic year is broken into two semesters, which last 14 weeks each. Fall semester classes generally begin in late August and end by early December. Classes resume for the spring semester in mid-January and conclude in late April. Prior to starting classes in the fall, all students participate in Keystone, a series of pre-term exercises and events including community service and social activities.

Goizueta full-time MBA students complete nine core courses in the first semester. These courses cover fundamentals in finance, marketing, professional communications, economics, management practice, and related fields. Once core requirements are met, students are then given the opportunity to take elective courses to round out and deepen their education. Two-year MBA students have the opportunity to pursue any of more than 20 concentrations, which all fit within the school’s five primary academic areas. Also during the first semester, students participate in the Goizueta Leadership Development Program to learn how to be an effective team member. First-year students also take part in a Goizueta IMPACT 360 project, a real-world consulting project for a local business in Atlanta. First-year students are assigned to a team with two to five other students, work with faculty throughout the year and finally make recommendations to client and faculty panels. Some past clients have included the American Cancer Society, The Home Depot, King’s Hawaiian and Turner.

Many Goizueta full-time MBA students also take advantage of the program’s international mid-semester module, where students can pursue internships or special projects during the spring semester in sites across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. In the past three years, students have visited 60 cities across the world.

Other MBA Degree Options

In addition to the Two-Year MBA, Goizueta also offers an accelerated One-Year MBA program. Within 12 months, students complete three semesters of courses including an IMPACT project, Global Experiential Module, and leadership development programming. They can choose from more than 20 concentrations and have the same access to electives as the Two-Year MBA students. For working professionals, Goizueta offers a part-time Evening MBA, which can be completed on-campus, fully online, or mix and match delivery formats. Students typically graduate in 24–32 months taking classes two weeknights per week. Goizueta’s Executive MBA is for working professionals with 10+ years of experience and can be completed in 18 months with on-campus, hybrid, or online courses.
