Current US Army Officer working as an Executive Officer of a 100 person organization focusing on innovation and experimentation in Missile Defense; a lot of collaboration with foreign military. Graduated from a state university in International Affairs in 2021. Volunteering with 2 organizations currently-1 Military related and 1 local cancer research hospital related. Would love to stay on the West Coast with a career in tech therefore targeting Foster, Anderson, and Marshall primarily with Haas as a reach and Carroll as a safety school. GRE journey went from 303->305->310 most recently. Also took GMAT and received a 600.

Nice improvements with your GRE, but it does make me wonder whether there’s room for more improvement? If you think there is, it will be well worth the effort, while then targeting round 2 for your applications? Very glad that you enjoy the podcast, too! (0)

buhmsong Likes Earned: 4 I’m considering giving it one more shot with the new format in a few weeks but been so busy at work that I’m not sure how it would go. I’ve done 3/5 for the yearly max attempt and wanted to at least save 1 attempt in case if a waitlist situation. Targeting R1 still, would this put me at a disadvantage? (0)

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1587 Yes, I’d think Round 2 with a more competitive score, will be better. Maybe split your apps, and apply to just a few in round 1, with the intent of retaking the GRE ahead of Round 2? (0)
