Recently graduated with a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, by 2025 would have worked for 2 years (4 years with internships). While working, my extracurriculars include being a mentor for a high school robotics team and taking classes through UW for coding and project management.

Considering pivoting into tech or consulting, but want to keep other options in consideration as well. (tech- product manager?)

Have not taken GMAT or GRE.

I know I don't have much work experience, but I was wondering which test should I focus on? what score would I need to target those schools? What other stuff can I add to make my resume better?

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1587 I’d focus on the GMAT, prep really hard and leave yourself time for a retake. Target a score close to the medians of the programs you’re targeting, or even above, to help compensate for the lower GPA?

Getting really involved in your ECs will help, if you can also take on some leadership, etc. impact and growth at work is key, which will be challenging given the shorter length of experience you’ll have.

Make sure your goals are focused, so pick one or the other, especially for your applications. Those who are applying early (in terms of experience) do tend to have less focused goals, which can backfire.
